They look just like Goldfish... They taste just like Goldfish... but they're called 'Chilean Sea Bass,' which is WAY more grown up sounding... right? On yeah... and don't worry... they'll still smile right back at ya!
Have you ever wanted to break out a bag of Goldfish in the office or at a party... but you thought to yourself "self... these are for kids. You're not a kid!" Well, you're in luck! The folks at Pepperidge Farm are re-branding Goldfish Snack Crackers as "Chilean Sea Bass Snack Crackers" to give you a more sophisticated adult-sounding snack!
Don't expect to see the new name in stores though. They're only doing it on special "Limited Edition" bags. They're selling a set amount each day for the next week at ChileanSeaBassCrackers.com (and they're HOT... so make sure you log on right at 9am to buy them!)
Fun fact: When Goldfish crackers debuted in 1962, they were MEANT for adults, not kids. They marketed them as a new type of snack for bartenders to put out. If you're under 50, you might not know this... but bars used to have free snacks, like pretzels and peanuts.
