It's a glass half full/half empty kind of conversation. We hear that eggs are good for us. Eggs are rich in protein, vitamins, and healthy fats. They support brain, eye, and muscle health, while helping with weight management and overall nutrition. Others profess that eggs are bad for our health. Eggs can be high in cholesterol and saturated fat, potentially raising heart disease risk, especially if consumed excessively or with unhealthy cooking methods.
But whether you work them into breakfast, lunch, or dinner, I think we can all agree that something as simple as an egg can reveal a lot about personal taste, and a new study has cracked the code on egg preferences across America.
The life insurance experts at Coventry Direct took a look at Google Trends search data to find the most popular egg style in each state. So, how does New York prefer that have their eggs prepared?

While most of the United States like their eggs scrambled, New Yorkers are in the minority joined by only two other states, Alabama and Oregon, in preferring eggs be fried.
Coventry Direct also took a look at egg prices around the country ahead of National Egg Day and found New York's eggs are the third highest in the nation, averaging $5.29 a dozen.
