The Hudson Valley's First Dog Park and Bar Opening in Rockland County

Back in 2019 Bark 'n Brews was created in Garnerville, New York. The concept was to bring together their "deep love for dogs and decades of food and beverage experience into one unique, tail-wagging concept."

Essentially, it's the most dog friendly bar you've ever been to where dogs run off leash while the humans get to kickback with a drink or something to eat.

They tested their idea within the community and learned "that there is such a thing as the perfect place for pups and their people to hang out together."

Bark 'n Brews will be located inside Paw Pals at 35 Smith Street and will be open every weekend from 1pm until 9pm.

Memberships aren't required, but Bark 'n Brews offers a few packages including a Daily Pass, 10 Pack, Monthly Pass and Annual Membership. You can get more details about what each package entails and for how much at BarknBrews.com.

Like most dog parks and boarding facilities, there are a few rules and regulations.

According to Bark 'n Brews, there are some common sense rules like you must pick up after your pet at all times, owners must be always be in the park and supervising their dog and there is a dog limit: 2 dogs per person.

Other rules include dogs must be up to date on vaccinations (like rabies, distemper and Bordetella). Dogs also must be registered with the park and their vaccinations on file.

"Bark 'n Brews" opens on May 30.
